Since 1976, Riviera has been an EPC (design, supply and construction) contractor specialising in white goods and food bottling plants, with major projects implemented mainly in the Middle East, North Africa and other developing countries.
Within the Riviera Group there are skills, experience and professionalism to execute projects from green field to personnel training and management consulting.
Over the years, Riviera has built up an international network of contacts and collaborations for the supply of plants and components. Riviera is headquartered in Varese, in what has always been the ‘white’ district where a fabric of excellent companies supporting the production of household appliances still persists: machinery and components.
Our founders held strategic positions within IGNIS, a major Italian company and world-leading manufacturer of household appliances from the mid-1950s to the mid-1970s, where they rode the ‘Italian industrial boom’ to the top. Our human capital includes managers, executives, mechanical and electromechanical engineers, designers, prototype specialists, laboratory test experts, safety and quality experts, refrigeration service personnel, electromechanical technicians, polyurethane technicians, and personnel for system installation and personnel training abroad. We also have our own laboratory facility, with test chambers for prototypes and finished models, a small-scale production line for samples and studios equipped with CAD equipment.
